Final commissioning and handover of the SIDRA Medical Centre car park CODE BLUE Emergency Call System was completed recently. This IP based system comprises single button flashing blue light Emergency call stations with integrated camera video connected via a digital network to a control room Communications Manager. Twenty four hour monitoring is effected by Security personnel who are alerted by audible and visual alarms whenever a field unit is operated. The system provides such features as voice and video recording, location mapping, event management, remote monitoring and maintenance functions.
The system joins several other similar CODE BLUE installations at Qatar Foundation car park and rail stations.

More than 200 fixed and PTZ IP cameras were commissioned along with the storage, monitoring, and video management control center. High capacity
Apollo Telecommunications recently completed a fast track project for Qatar Armed Forces Military Academy installing a state of the art IP based CCTV system covering the new Accommodation complex. More than 200 fixed and PTZ IP cameras were commissioned along with the storage, monitoring, and video management control center. High capacity core and edge servers communicating over an optical network were also installed to provide a high speed backbone network.
In addition, a server based IKUSI IPTV network was installed to distribute digital satellite channels throughout the accommodation buildings via a high speed optical network.
Security for the buildings was provided by installing a network based TYCO Access control system covering card readers, door control and monitoring, alarm system and card production facility.
